Meet
Dr. Michele Pyne

Dr. Michele Pyne is our newest addition to the veterinary staff here at Front Range Animal Hospital. She grew up in northern Indiana. During high school she volunteered and later had a position as veterinary assistant at a local mixed animal practice. She knew that veterinary medicine was the path for her when she was called on to help deliver a baby goat during a Sunday morning emergency. After high school she attended Purdue University for both her undergraduate and veterinary schooling. She had always wanted to live in Colorado, so as a senior in veterinary school she completed an externship in western Colorado. She subsequently took a job in Grand Junction and practiced there for 2 years.

Her journey as a veterinarian brought her to the Front Range over a decade ago. She enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and clients, and seeing those cute puppies and feisty kittens grow into faithful dogs and loving cats. She has special enjoyment doing soft tissue surgeries. She enjoys educating clients on ways to better care for their pets and keep them healthy.

Her furry and feathered family includes a wonderful loving mixed breed dog named Buckaroo, a friendly grey and white kitty named Trixie, 2 horses named Polly and Mooch and two birds named Daffodil and Tigger. When not working hard to make sure your four legged friends stay happy and healthy, she enjoys reading, cross stitching, horseback riding, hiking and camping.
