At Front Range Animal Hospital, we are absolutely dedicated to making sure our patients are comfortable after a surgery or dental procedure. First and foremost, we don’t want our patients to hurt! In addition to that, studies have shown that adequately controlling post-operative pain results in patients who heal faster and have less infections! We have many pain medications available. We carefully pick the treatment for your pet, sometimes using more than one type of medication, for the best results.

Each of our patients is completely unique. This includes pain perception. Some pets are tough as nails. Some have low pain thresholds. Owners are vital in evaluating our pain management, giving the doctor feedback on the effectiveness, so we can make any adjustments necessary for that individual pet.
