I first knew I wanted to work in the animal field at the age of seven after saving a baby bird that fell out of its nest during a storm. I then started surrounding myself with all kinds of animals and books about animals. I would bring home any animal that was hurt or abandoned, much to the dismay of my parents!

I graduated from Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, CO in May 2006 with a Veterinary Technician and an Animal Shelter Management degree. I then married my best friend in April 2007 and after moving to Colorado Springs to be closer to my husband’s job, I started working at FRAH in June 2007. In my spare time I love hanging out with my husband, and with my dogs and cats, horseback riding, 4-wheeling, camping, and scrap booking.
